Vacant Long Lake Elementary School Gains New Owner With Plans To Repurpose It

The vacant Long Lake Elementary School building has a new owner with plans to repurpose it and add on to it.

Tamarack holdings wants to provide a production facility for food for thought and many other services including a retail store for products manufactured on site, office and educational space and a place for new businesses to grow.

They hope to collaborate with Northwestern Michigan College and Munson Medical Center.

There are no set contracts yet, but many in the works.

Ground breaking is scheduled to happen in the next 30 days.
