An Otsego County auto dealership will change hands as a Traverse City company is in the final stages of a purchase.
Bill Marsh Auto Group plans to buy Gaylord Ford.
The current owner of the dealership, Gail Skerratt took over following her husband’s unexpected death last year.
She determined it was best to sell.
Bill Marsh Auto Group met with employees Tuesday and they’re thrilled to begin business in Gaylord.
"It’s an excellent community and this particular dealership has a long standing history of community involvement, so we just thought it was a really good fit for us," Bill Marsh Auto Group partner Bill Marsh said.
Approval by Ford Motor Company could still take several weeks.
