Traverse City Men Sentenced After Having Sexual Relationship With Underage Girl

Two Traverse City men convicted of having a sexual relationship with an underage girl learned their punishments Monday.

Dustin Kantz and Brandon Zimmerman were arrested in February.

The Grand Traverse County sheriff’s office says a 15-year-old student told them she engaged in consensual acts with the men.

She was not old enough for legal consent.

Kantz was sentenced to one and a half to five years in prison.

Zimmerman was sentenced to five months in jail and three years’ probation.
