Mason County Central Schools Close After Sewer Line Collapses

Students in one Northern Michigan school system have the day off after a sewer line collapsed.

The line failed Friday night at the Mason County Central School.

The superintendent says Ludington crews are working inside the school right now figuring out why the sewer line collapsed.

This closure is so important because it provides food for not only the district, but also important programs across the county, like Meals on Wheels, senior center lunches and meals at the Gateway to Success Academy.
