Downstate Man Arrested for Meth After Trying To Steal From Walmart

A downstate man was arrested after trying to steal $22 worth of merchandise, but that’s not all he was wanted for.

It happened last Monday when a man tried to steal things from the Mount Pleasant Walmart.

Deputies then discovered that there were several felony warrants for his arrest and he was suspended form driving.

When searching his car, officers found a meth lab.

BAYONET drug team was called to the scene to help clean it up.
