A Traverse City man charged with animal cruelty has pleaded not guilty.

In November, animal control was called to a house on Veterans Drive near South Airport Road.

They found a cat very sick and wrapped in duct tape.

The Grand Traverse Veterinary Hospital took the cat in and gave him the name Ronnie.

Sadly, he’s since passed away.

Mykhaylo Narolskyy has been charged with one misdemeanor count of animal cruelty.

He’ll be back in court May 11.
