MSP Investigating Deadly Mecosta Co. Motorcycle Crash

A Big Rapids man is dead after he rolled his motorcycle.

Michigan State Police say it happened around 3:15 p.m. Monday in Morton Township near Mecosta.

Troopers say 50-year-old Steve Mason was driving south on 90th Avenue when he left the road, went in a ditch, and rolled.

Police found Mason unresponsive and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
