A man accused of sex crimes against a teenager is going to jail.
State police arrested the Cheboygan man in September following a month long investigation.
Peter Rash was sentenced to nine months in jail after taking a plea for a fourth degree sex crime.
He must serve five months up front, but he’s granted a work release.
He was originally charged with inappropriate contact with a child age 13 to 15 and a child 16 or older.
Investigators believe it was the same child.
