Ludington Police Respond to Two Heroin Overdoses Three Hours Apart

A warning from police in Ludington after they’ve responded to two heroin overdoses just three hours apart.

The first happened on Rowe Street around 2:15 Sunday afternoon the second around 5:30 on Danaher Street.

First responders used Narcan to revive both men who were unresponsive and not breathing.

Both were taken to Spectrum Health in Ludington to be treated.

 Police believe they used a higher potency of heroin that may have been mixed with other dangerous substances.

Officers are now working to determine where the heroin came from.

Police ask if you come across someone who’s possibly overdosed to call 911.
