Traverse City Woman Accused of Driving Drunk, Hit-and-Run

Police arrested a Traverse City woman after she hit a parked car while driving drunk.

Traverse City police got a call from Union Street Station around 11:30 Thursday night.

A woman was kicked out of the bar. Reports show she was swinging a pool stick around, trying to hit people.

Before she got in her car and drove away, police say she knocked out her car windows with a hatchet.

During her drive home she also hit a parked car along Cass and Front Street.

Police pulled her over on South Cedar Lane in Leelanau County.

She had a PBT of .227.

They put her in handcuffs for driving super drunk, open intoxicants, resisting and obstructing and hit-and-run.
