Clare County 4-H Looks To Raise Money Through Plant Sale

A Northern Michigan program is looking to raise some money this spring.

The Clare County 4-H program is having a plant sale through the beginning of May.

They are offering a variety of plants in hanging baskets and flats.

The money helps with programming, college scholarships, and make a wish scholarships that assist members with attending camps and other events throughout the year.

“Even though they’re a part of Clare County 4-H, they get to attend programs and meet other kids from all over the state and sometimes all over the country, and even sometimes out of the country,” says Clare County 4-H Program Coordinator, Alex Schunk. “So they get to go to a lot of different things, meet new people, and learn a lot of different things.”

Plants can be ordered through any Clare County 4-H member or their MSU Extension through May 10
