An Emmet County community is meeting to discuss the future of the failed O’Neal Lake Dam.
The Bliss Township dam failed back in 2014 and the lake has been draining ever since.
People who live on the lake want it restored.
So Tuesday, the DNR is hosting a meeting with the public focused on the bidding process.
Last month, the DNR says they were approved for a dam management grant for $200,000.
Coupled with money already raised, it says that’s enough to get the dam fixed.
