Trump Signs Bill Allowing States To Withhold Federal Funding From From Planned Parenthood

President Donald Trump signed a bill to allow states to withhold Title X federal funding from Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers.

The Senate narrowly passed the resolution at the end of March.

The action overturns a rule enacted last year by President Obama that prevented states from defunding the providers.

This is the first major pro-life legislation to be signed into law in more than a decade.

The organization provides services including cancer screenings, birth control and abortions.
