Former Roscommon County Officer Accused of False Pretenses

More accusations against a former public safety officer in Roscommon County.

We first visited the story last fall when that same Richfield Township officer was placed on administrative leave during an internal fraud investigation in St. Helen.

The Wexford County prosecutor, who has taken over the case, says Cindy Finkbeiner is accused of three counts of false pretenses in the matter of $1,000 to $20,000.

He also says Finkbeiner will be charged with embezzling over $50 as a public official and common law fraud.

Finkbeiner’s arraignment is set for April 27.
