Village Of Buckley To Hold Public Hearing Over Current Zoning Ordinance
The village of Buckley is holding a public hearing Wednesday night to revise a current zoning ordinance.
Right now, Buckley’s zoning ordinance doesn’t allow businesses to expand due to a zoning mistake.
It actually prohibits many businesses like gas stations, drive-thrus and auto shops.
When a local business asked about expanding at a village meeting, leaders realized they needed to create a new ordinance.
The village, however, will still not allow yard sales or sexually oriented businesses.
The meeting kicks off Wednesday night at 6:45 p.m. at the Village Hall in Buckley.
Northern Michigan’s News Leader will be there to bring you the latest from Wednesday night’s meeting.
