Grant Me Hope: Rachel

This week in Grant Me Hope we meet Rachel.

She’s a sweet, soft-spoken middle schooler who loves animals and spending time outside.

She dreams of her future by drawing it.

Rachel hopes to work with animals one day.

“I want to be a veterinarian because I like to help animals, and if an animal accidentally gets hit by a car and has a hurt leg, I could help,” says Rachel.

Rachel’s favorite subject in school is art.

“I will draw the outside and just imagine what the future will look like. I’ll draw my future, what I want the outside to look like,” says Rachel.

Rachel is looking for a forever family to adopt her.

“On holidays, I would like to have family and some of their family members over so we can open presents all together, like as a family. I think they should adopt me because I would like to have a mom and dad and some siblings.

Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
