Deputies: No Evidence of Foul Play in Death of Man Found in Burned Out Car

Gladwin County deputies are ruling out foul play in the death a man who was found in a burned out car.

Edward Lakian’s body was found in the charred car on a two-track road in the Lame Duck Wildlife Area.

Deputies say there is no evidence of foul play.

They do believe Lakian got lost and stuck in the muddy road.

He tried to free the car but couldn’t.

Investigators believe he then died from a medical condition.

They say the car overheated and burned out on its own.
