Passenger Dragged Off United Airlines Flight

A disturbing sight for many passengers as a man was dragged off a United Airlines plane and injured when he refused to give up his seat on the overbooked flight.

Other passengers on the plane recorded the incident.

The plane was set to leave Sunday night from Chicago.

Witnesses say the flight crew was trying to convince several passengers to give up their seats, to free up room for United Airlines employees.

The man was among four people randomly selected to leave, but he refused.

That’s when three Chicago airport police officers boarded the plane to drag him off, injuring him in the process.

The Chicago Department of Aviation says one of those officers has been placed on leave while they investigate the situation.
