Four Men Arrested For Making Meth, Operating Meth Lab In Mason Co.

A Northern Michigan drug team arrested four people they say were making meth in Mason County.

The SSCENT drug team searched a home in February on US 10 in Branch Township, finding items used to make meth inside.

On Thursday, the drug team arrested Johnathan Colwell, Christopher Smalley, Tyrone Mcneely, and James Kelsey.

They’re all charged with making meth, operating a meth lab and providing chemicals to make the drug.

All three charges are felonies with punishments up to 20 years in prison if they are convicted.
