Kingsley Woman Arrested for Shooting at Truck Following Argument over Ownership

A Kingsley woman was arrested Saturday after deputies say she shot at a truck a man was driving, after the two argued about who owned it.

It all happened around 11:30 a.m. at a home in Mayfield Township in Grand Traverse County.

Deputies say the man and woman started fighting over who owned the truck.

When the man started driving the truck away, the woman shot at the truck.

She hit the truck but the man was able to drive away and was not hurt.

Deputies arrested the woman on charges of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder.

Deputies are still investigating.
