Serra Subaru of Traverse City Supports Women’s Resource Center

Serra Subaru of Traverse City is showing support to local organizations in the form of some big checks.

Every year Subaru donates to national charities with their Share the Love event.

Last year, Serra Subaru of Traverse City opened the program up to local charities.

They collected donations for the Women’s Resource Center.

With every new car someone bought, Subaru donated $250 to the nonprofit.

“It’s a little over $21,000 and that represents about 88 of our Subaru customers chose the Women’s Resource Center as their charity of choice,” says Mike McFarlan, Serra Subaru Traverse City.

“Any type of donation is going to directly fund the mission to protect, shelter and empower women who are fleeing domestic violence situations. So just an incredible blessing,” says Juliette Schultz, executive director of the Women’s Resource Center.

The Women’s Resource Center serves women, children and men in the greater Grand Traverse region.
