A long stretch of an Osceola County road is getting upgraded, but it’s going to cause some headaches for drivers.
Next week, reconstruction begins on a stretch of Mackinaw Trail between 11 mile and 14 mile.
Once it starts, the road will be closed to through traffic and at times will be completely impassable.
A detour will be set up using US 131 between 11 and 14 Mile Roads.
The project should hopefully be done by May 15.
