Traverse City Chamber Of Commerce Hosts 13th Annual Small Business Candidates Showcase

“What’s special about tonight is it’s their opportunity to be creative,” said Max Anderson, Executive Director of the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce.

Wednesday was an exciting night in Traverse City for more than two dozen small businesses.

The Traverse City Chamber of Commerce hosted their 13th Annual Small Business Candidates Showcase on Wednesday.

More than two dozen businesses were featured and Wednesday night was a chance for them to show off their creativity.

They had 350 nominations for 200 businesses in town.

The ones that applied came Wednesday night to show the judges and public what their business is all about.

“The next couple of weeks the judges for the competition will be visiting the businesses, getting to know them a little bit and then choosing a top then, which we’re going to announce on April 19 right before our Business After Hours celebration,” said Anderson.

The top then will be unveiled on April 19. A winner is announced at their award ceremony on May 31.
