Beulah Boil Water Advisory Lifted

A boil water advisory in Benzie County has been lifted.

The village of Beulah issued the advisory Monday evening.

It all started when a water main, which dates back to the 1930s, burst.

More than 250,000 gallons of water flooded the area.

The advisory is now lifted.

When it happened, the village was actually meeting to discuss replacing the aging water system.

Now they are applying for a state grant to help pay for a $4 million project.
