Manistee Co. Deputies Still Looking for Car Involved In Deadly Crash

Manistee County deputies are on the lookout for a car that caused a deadly crash Wednesday night.

Deputies say the driver pulled out in front of Big Al’s in Manistee Township Wednesday.

It then turned back into the restaurant on US 31 by another entrance.

Police say Dean Horaszewski was heading north on US 31 and swerved to avoid hitting a car, but hit a suburban head-on and died.

The driver and four year-old passenger in the suburban were taken to the hospital for their injuries and they are okay.

Deputies are looking for a tan or gold SUV with loud exhaust seen in this video.

“Were explaining to people this happened someone lost their life so we apologize for the inconvenience but were going to follow every single tip we can get and until we find him were going to keep looking because we don’t know,” says Sheriff John O’Hagan.

If you have seen the SUV, call the Manistee County Sheriff’s Department.
