Three People Charged With Traverse City Home Break-In, Stealing Car

Three people have now been charged for breaking into a Traverse City home and stealing a car.

Ethan Campbell and James Brumfield are charged with breaking and entering, unlawful driving away a motor vehicle and stealing a car.

Taylor Witkop is also charged with stealing a car.

The three were caught in the stolen BMW downstate by a Genesee County sheriff’s deputy.

They admitted to stealing the car from an unattached garage in the 400 block of Sixth Street.

Traverse City police say the homeowner was gone on vacation.
