Mansitee Police Looking For Driver Tied To Deadly Crash

Manistee police need your help finding a driver tied to a deadly crash.

Deputies say the driver pulled out of Big Al’s on Parkway Wednesday night around 9:00.

He or she then turned back into the restaurant using another entrance.

Police say Dean Horaszewski was heading north on US- 31 and swerved to avoid hitting the driver, but hit a suburban head on and died.

The driver and 4-year-old passenger in the suburban were taken to the hospital, treated, and released.

Now, deputies want to find the driver that left the scene.

They’re looking for a tan or gold SUV with a loud exhaust.
