Mason Co. Woman Charged With Possession Of Heroin, Analogues

A Mason County woman is in jail, facing charges for two drug related felonies.

The State Sheriffs Chiefs Enforcement Narcotics Team says Renee Beer of Ludington was the subject of an investigation that began in February.

Wednesday she was charged with possession of heroin and possession of analogues, which are drugs chemically similar to narcotics.

If convicted, beer could spend up to four years in prison, and have to pay a $25,000 fine for the possession of heroin charge.
