Man Charged With Making Meth In Gladwin County

A man already in jail for other crimes was charged with making meth.

It’s part of a larger case out of Gladwin County.

The meth investigation started when deputies arrested a man in Secord Township two weeks ago, then found a meth lab in a home last Monday.

Deputies say clues led them to Johnathon Mackey’s involvement.

Mackey was charged with three counts, including making meth and having the materials used to make it.

He was also charged with being a habitual offender.

The case is still ongoing.
