Preliminary Autopsy Results Show No Signs Of Blunt Trauma, Injuries In Manistee Woman’s Death

Preliminary autopsy results show a Manistee woman did not die from blunt trauma, stabbing or shooting.

Deputies found Marcia Mackey’s body in Manistee Lake Saturday.

The autopsy showed water in her lungs and stomach, but the sheriff has not called it a drowning.

He says there are no signs of injury that would have led to her death.

Toxicology tests are still being done to help figure out how she died.
