A man tried to attack deputies after they arrested him for drunk driving.
It all started when Grand Traverse County deputies were called to a gas station in Garfield Township.
They had a report about a man punching a snow plow driver.
Deputies say the driver crashed his pickup and offered the plow driver $100 to pull him out.
When the driver refused, the man punched him.
Deputies took the man to the hospital, where they say he kicked a deputy in the leg and tried to head butt another deputy.
The man now faces charges for drunk driving, resisting and obstructing police and assault.
