Michigan Hunters Prepare for Late Antlerless Firearm Deer Season

Hunters across Michigan are gearing up for the start of late antlerless firearm deer season.

The Department of Natural Resources says the season kicks off Monday and ends January 1st.

A valid, private-land antlerless deer license is required to take part in the hunt, which is restricted to private land in designated deer management units.

The DNR is also reminding hunters to wear orange.
