Charges against a man arrested at a Starbucks in Isabella County back in September have been dropped.
Nathan Clark was accused of attempted larceny.
The sheriff say Clark asked for all the money in the register of the Starbucks inside the Mount Pleasant Target.
The sheriff says Clark paid for his coffee, but before walking away told the clerk he had the gun, but that it wasn’t very big.
Deputies say he did not have a weapon on him.
The charges against Clark have now been dropped.
Clark’s lawyer says, “Ultimately, the judge determined that there was not probable cause to bind Mr. Clark over to Circuit Court on the charges of attempted larceny from the person. The Judge indicated that the comments made to the barista did not on their own rise to an attempted commission of a crime.”
