A fundraiser in Traverse City is working to help the less fortunate and you can too.
It’s called Give 10 For 10.
The Goodwill Inn in Traverse City wants to bring awareness to the services it provides to homeless individuals and families.
They’re asking the public to either donate 10 volunteer hours or $10 to the cause.
Through this, they’re hoping to raise $10,000 and 10,000 volunteer hours.
With 8,000 people passing through the building in the past 10 years, there’s a lot of wear and tear.
“Every penny counts and every dollar gets stretched,” says Ty Curtis, program manager for housing. “So there are those things that maybe you don’t count in your day to day budget that come up that need to be replaced or updated, need to be fixed.”
The campaign ends on Monday, December 19.
