Jury Finds Dylann Roof Guilty In Charleston Church Attack
A man is now facing the death penalty for shooting and killing nine worshipers in a racially motivated church attack.
The jury in the Dylann Roof trial revealed the verdict Thursday afternoon.
Roof targeted his victims at the historic Charleston church in 2015.
Roof’s confession was played in court.
He said he wanted to start a race war.
The same jury will decide if he should get the death penalty.
Roof has said he will act as his own attorney during that part of the trial.
