While some clear away the snow, others hope more falls, especially snowmobilers.
Right now the Petoskey Snowmobile Club says they’ve been doing maintenance to their trails in anticipation of more snow.
Things like keeping fallen trees off their trails, posting trail markers and other signs.
Once that’s done, trail groomers will put on the final touches for riders.
“The groomers are all ready to go, we’ve got one sitting right here, as you can see. It’s ready to fire up. We’re hoping within a week we’ll have a foot of snow and we’ll be out grooming,” says Jim Kell, Petoskey Snowmobile Club.
