If you’re hesitant to get behind the wheel during a snow storm, public transportation might be an option.
With snow in the forecast, Bay Area Transportation Authority is working with their drivers to brush up on winter safety skills, like finding the safest places to pick-up and unload.
They’re reminding riders to wait in safe areas near bus stops.
They say they’ll stay on the roads until police say otherwise.
Eric Lingaur Communications Manager for BATA says, “People rely on BATA for transportation to get to their doctor appointments, to get to the grocery store and we’re on the road as much as possible as long as it’s safe to get people to their final destination.”
