Traverse City Salvation Army Kicks-Off Matching Monday Campaign

We’ve hit the last three weeks of the Red Kettle Campaign, to help Traverse City’s Salvation Army reach their $175,000 goal an anonymous donor is sponsoring Matching Monday.

For the last three Mondays, starting December 5, each donation is doubled.

The cut off for the match donor is $10,000, but the Salvation Army is hoping like last year they beat that.

The point is to motivate everyone to invest whatever they have to their local community whether it’s , at the red kettle site or at the Salvation Army facility.

Captain Jeffrey Russell says, “It goes for the feeding programs it goes to their food pantry all the basic needs that people need that come for our services, that funding helps provide the monetary support.”

Traverse City’s Salvation Army also still needs volunteers to finish out the red kettle season, to sign up click .
