Serra Subaru Share the Love Event Benefits Women’s Resource Center

Sharing the love – that’s what Serra Subaru in Traverse City is all about this month.

From now until January 3, anyone who buys or leases a new Subaru can also help a charity.

Subaru donates to national charities, but recently Serra Subaru opened the program up to local charities.

This year they are helping the Women’s Resource Center.

With every new car, Subaru will donate $250.

“It’s just a great local charity. That’s what we like about it, it’s local,” says Mike McFarlan, general manager of Serra Cadillac-Subaru Traverse City. “We want to do anything we can to help the local.”

“We know that domestic violence impacts 1 in 3 women in our community. So if Serra Subaru can get behind us as a cause and as a mission that’s really powerful,” says Juliette Schultz, executive director of the Women’s Resource Center.

Even if you aren’t getting a new car, you can still make a donation at Serra Subaru on Garfield in Traverse City.
