A man is dead after crashing his truck in Chippewa County.
Deputies say he may have been drunk.
Deputies found the pickup in a ditch off M-48 near Townline Road in Rabar Township Saturday night.
They say it veered off the road, hit a large rock and several trees before landing on its side there.
Deputies say Benjamin Hilts, of DeTour, was behind the wheel.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies believe speed and alcohol, both factored into the crash.
But they continue to investigate.
