A local nonprofit organization is having a couple of events to boost the holiday spirit for its clients.
Oasis Family Resource Center in Cadillac helps people going through domestic violence and sexual abuse.
This Saturday, they’re hosting their first-ever breakfast with Santa.
About 200 people are expected to attend the sold out event at the Cadillac Grill.
They’re also doing a holiday sponsorship drive.
“We’ve got families adopting, businesses adopting, poker tournaments that are sponsoring families, so there’s always someone who wants to give back and this is just an opportunity to bridge the community with our clients,” said Oasis Resource Coordinator Amie Mackenzie.
Families are making wish lists, and the community can pitch in to grant those wishes.
