Reed City Benefit to Help 2-Year-Old Girl with Neuroblastoma

A benefit happening Friday night will help a little girl fighting a rare neurological disorder get the treatment she needs.

Jaycee Jo was born with full physical capabilities, but now she can barely walk.

She has OMAS neuroblastoma.

Originally from Reed City — her family now lives in Grand Rapids so she can have access to treatment.

But that’s not cheap — so new beginnings fellowship church in reed city is hosting a benefit to help offset costs.

There will be a spaghetti dinner, 50/50 raffle, and a bake sale all at the church.

“Everybody in this community knows Jaycee or her mom or her dad or her grandma, and you can’t just sit by and do nothing. As a church, we decided to host the event and our community has rallied around us,” said Angela Tower, who’s helping organize the event.

The event starts at 5 p.m. at the church and dinner is entry by donation.

Jaycee Jo and her family will be there.
