President-elect Trump and VP elect Mike Pence continue their victory lap Thursday night.
Trump also announced his pick for Secretary of Defense, retired Marine general James Mattis.
“I’m here today for one main reason," say President-elect, Donald Trump. "To say thank you to Ohio. Thank you. We won the state by almost 10 points, which they say is totally unheard of."
Thursday night’s Cincinnati rally is part of what’s being called a "thank you" tour.
States like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin are the reason why the president elect is headed to the White House.
“We didn’t have much help at the top levels, you know that. And that turned out it didn’t matter,” says Trump. “But we had help with the people and that is what really did matter.”
The Trump tour will come to Michigan sometime next week.
