Michigan Counties Now Scheduling Presidential Vote Recount Efforts

The Green Party’s Jill Stein officially filed a recount request Wednesday, and paid nearly $1 million to make it happen.

It will be a hand count of all votes cast in the presidential election, which Donald Trump won in Michigan by about 10,000 votes.

Counties are starting to schedule a time for the recount.

For instance, Montcalm County will begin the process on Sunday at 8:30 in the morning at the former Stanton Elementary School west entrance on North State Street.

The Green Party is looking for volunteers to observe the recount.
