Strong overnight winds knocked out power for thousands of Consumers Energy customers across Northern Michigan Tuesday morning.
Clare County Central Dispatch says strong winds knocked a tree across the road but has been taken care of.
About 2,000 Consumers Energy customers in Emmet County are without power. It is expected to be restored by 4 p.m.
Consumers says power won’t be restored to those in Ogemaw County until 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
