Developing: Police in Clare Co. Searching For Man In Connection To Armed Robbery

Developing news Monday night in Clare County where deputies and city police are actively looking for a man wanted for questioning in connection to an armed robbery.

The Clare City Police Chief says two masked suspects robbed the Dollar Daze in Clare at gunpoint around 7:30 Monday night.

One suspect hit the manager in the head before they both took off.

Around 10 minutes after responding to the armed robbery, a suspicious car was pulled over near Ann Arbor Trail and 5th Street.

A bank bag from Dollar Daze was found in the vehicle and police believe the passenger, Robert Wagner, was involved in the robbery.

Wagner took off on foot and police are actively searching for him.

They say he’s a white man, six foot tall with blue jeans.

He was wearing a blue sweat shirt but police say he ditched it.

Police are also looking for a second suspect involved.

Police say the public is not in any danger.
