We have new details in the shooting death of a Wayne State University police officer.
The man police say is responsible is now charged with first-degree murder.
Collin Rose was shot while on duty Tuesday, and he died from his injuries at the hospital on Wednesday.
Police arrested Deangelo Davis as a suspect.
Friday he was charged with first-degree murder, murder of a police officer and gun crimes.
Detroit police say Davis has a felony record and a history of violence against officers.
He’s scheduled to appear in court Friday.
Rose graduated from Ferris State University in 2010, and spent a summer working for Shepler’s in the Straits of Mackinac.
