State officials are giving the community more time to have a say in the Ice Mountain water bottling expansion.
Last month, Nestle announced a $36 million expansion to the operation near Stanwood in Mecosta County.
To do that, they would have to dramatically increase the amount of groundwater they pump from a well in Osceola County.
Now with more time, the community input period will end on March 3.
Tuesday the DEQ says they will also have a public hearing before that day.
