A man and a woman recovering from stab wounds.
Isabella County deputies say Lonney Lavoye attacked them with a knife at an adult foster care facility.
When deputies got there, they found a woman who works in the building on East Airport Road where Lavoye also lived had around five stab wounds in her chest and stomach.
The Isabella County Sheriff says she asked Lavoey to turn down his loud music several times then he stabbed her.
Another resident who saw what was happening and tried to stop him was stabbed in the thigh.
Both went to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
They found Lavoey nearby, the sheriff says he put his hands up immediately.
"These clients have all kinds of mental health issues and certainly he had mental health issues so I’m sure that played a huge factor in the reason," Sheriff Main said.
Lavoey is now charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
