Cadillac Salvation Army Donates Thanksgiving Dinners to Families

One group is pulling out all stops to bring a real Thanksgiving feast more than 100 local families this year.

Tuesday morning, Cadillac Salvation Army volunteers delivered 180 boxes of food to families in need.

Each box was packed with enough to prepare a full thanksgiving meal.

Donations from an anonymous business made a big difference.

"Being able to do this is so important for families,” says Maj. Mark Nance, Corps Officer, Cadillac Salvation Army. “This right here might constitute a water bill and a utility bill. Well, now they can pay that water bill or that utility bill because they just got a 100, 150 dollars in groceries."
